This gorgeous family garden flat is private accommodation for guests who are looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday in the Highlands.  With views of the Cairngorms and every convenience within walking distance, this is a perfect spot for families, artists, outdoor enthusiasts, climbers and wild swimmers.  There is a kitchen for those who wish to cook hearty meals, and great places to eat within a few minutes' walk, for nights off duty.  Comfort and customer service are our focus, while providing you with your own private space.   Come and enjoy the fabulous views and calming atmosphere at Ardvonie House, Kingussie.

Ardvonie Apartment

Come and relax in our newly refurbished garden flat.  With luxurious super-king and single beds, the flat comes with  a fully fitted kitchen and spacious shower room.  We cater for small families, as well as friends.  Contact us directly if you require more space.

Location

Location

There is not always phone or satellite reception in the Scottish mountains so please make sure that you print directions before you set off, or have a good map to navigate by.  The road off the A86 is signposted '"Ardvonie Road".  Take this and we are the yellow house on the right at the top of Ardvonie Park in Kingussie.  Please make sure that you're prepared for technology failures on your journey.  There is an EV charger two minutes walk away, at the bottom of the park.  There is plenty of free parking at the house.

Kitchen

With an induction cooker, electric oven, fridge freezer, large sink and a fold away table, this kitchen has everything you will need for transforming your own ingredients into delicious meals, tasty snacks and little luxuries.

Free Wifi
Garden and Outdoor Space

The garden is spacious with a 13ft trampoline and a swing-with-a-view.  The playpark is just at the bottom of the park in front of the house.  

Towels

 A white towel and face cloth will be provided for your use.

Wild swimming

The river Spey is ideal for cold water swimming.  There are many sections that are deep, wide and not too fast flowing.  Loch Gynack is also within walking distance.  We can recommend other great spots.

Service

We do everything we can to accommodate our guests.  Please ask if there is anything you want to know or use. We aim to please.

Shahj's place is spotless and spacious and the location is fantastic - great views and just a short walk from the town centre and station. From the first contact Saaj responded quickly and positively and was keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. It's clear he's given much thought to the comfort of his guests. We had a great night's sleep in the kingsized bed. It was great to have our own entrance to come and go as we pleased and very convenient having a fridge, toaster and kettle just outside the bedroom, for our own use. Saaj is a friendly and very accommodating host, full of recommendations for local walks and we will definitely aim to stay with him again when visiting Kingussie.
